With the recently released National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation report of the nine Programmes visited by the commission at Igbinedion University Okada in the first quarter of this year, the University’s entire forty-nine (49) programmes now have full accreditation status.
The exciting news was contained in an official memo released by the Registrar of the University, Friday Benji Bakare Esq. who conveyed Management’s commendation to all staff and stakeholders on the magnificent accomplishment. He described the achievement “as a further demonstration of the University’s commitment to academic excellence”.
The accredited undergraduate programmes with 5 year validity include: Medicine & Surgery (MBBS), B.Sc Anatomy, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Medical Laboratory Science, B.Eng Mechanical Engineering and B.Eng Petroleum Engineering while the Post Graduate programmes are: M.Sc Accounting, M.Sc Banking & Finance and M.Sc Business Administration.
