The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has again reaccredited to the School of Nursing Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital IUTH Okada.

The Chief Medical Director IUTH Okada, Prof Godwin Nosakhare Bazuaye who disclosed this to newsmen in Benin City, expressed his deep appreciation to the Honourable Chancellor, HE, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Igbinedion, CFR, the Deputy Chancellor, Chief Dr Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion and the Vice Chancellor Igbinedion University Okada Prof Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, PhD, FAS for their relentless support towards getting the reaccreditation of the school.

Prof Bazuaye noted that with this reaccreditation of the school, the institution is now fully ready to metamorphose into a College of Nursing and Midwifery Services.

He encouraged parents to take advantage of the opportunity to send their children to the School of Nursing Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital, IUTH Okada as admission into the institution for the 2021/2022 academic session is still open with entrance examination taking place this Saturday at 10am at Igbinedion Education Centre, Muritala Mohamed way in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
