IUO Social Impact Project


SIP is the acronym for the Social Impact Project, an initiative of Igbinedion University Okada.


The IUO Social Impact Project,Tuition Support program is in partnership with Ecoquest Creations Ltd. Simply put, the Tuition Support is a scheme under the IUO Social Impact Project designed to assist parents who cannot afford to send their wards to acquire Private University education.
The program is about tuition support, meaning, the full tuition fee plus 50% of accommodation of successful candidates will be paid annually by Ecoquest Creations Ltd. on behalf of every successful applicants who wish to study at Igbinedion University Okada.


To be eligible for the program, candidate must:

  • provide evidence that he/she is not capable of paying the full fees of Igbinedion University and as such needs tuition support.have written JAMB (those with 2017 JAMB may also apply for the current session while those who only wrote the 2018 will be considered for the new session beginning in September 2018).  
  • possess the prerequisite O level result as stated in the admission requirement for admission into Igbinedion university Okada.
  • not be more than 22 years old except for candidates seeking second first degree.
  • complete and submit the SIP assessment form for tuition support.
  • be willing and ready to pay a one time investment fee of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) into the IUO/ Ecoquest Creation investment account.
  • be ready and willing to pay the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Naira annually as 50% balance on accommodation, all of other charges and all of Sundry fees of Igbinedion University, Okada irrespective of course offered every year till the completion of the degree program.
  • submit himself/herself to the rules and regulations governing students conduct and tenancy code of conduct of Igbinedion University, Okada including non involvement in acts of violence and disturbance of public peace, conformity with academic rules and abstaining from cultism and clandestine activities. Any student found guilty of any of these and related offences will be summarily expelled from the University.


After completing and submitting the assessment form, successful candidates will be issued a notice of approval via sms/email to:

  • visit the university website at www.iuokada.edu.ng and complete the University's admission form
  • obtain a bank draft of Twelve Thousand, Five Hundred Naira only (N12,500) in favour of Igbinedion University, Okada.
  • Attend an admission screening exercise at Admissions Office, Old Admin Building, Main Campus, Igbinedion University, Okada.

After the completion of admission screening exercise and issuance of admission letter, successful candidates would be required to pay IN FULL and only once the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Tuition Support investment fee into a dedicated account as contained in the payment advice that will be issued along with the admission letter.

Candidates who have been cleared for enrolment will also pay a sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) administrative/ consultancy fee  to Ecoquest Creations Ltd. before being issued clearance by Ecoquest to proceed on payment to Igbinedion University Okada.

Candidates will be required to pay the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Naira only every year (annually) to Igbinedion University, Okada as would be directed in the payment advice attached to the admission letter. However, the University has permitted that the Three Hundred Thousand Naira can be paid in instalments (but not more than three times) spread across the session. The Three Hundred Thousand Naira is the balance payment of fees not covered by the IUO/Ecoquest Tuition Support scheme and which are payable by every student at Igbinedion University Okada. These includes:

The 50% balance on Accommodation not covered by the Tuition Support scheme.

All of the "Other Charges" not covered by the tuition support scheme

All of the "Sundry fees/ Additional payment" not covered by the tuition support scheme.
