The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye PhD. FAS has expressed his profound gratitude to all staff for the positive sentiments expressed towards him on his second anniversary in office as Vice-Chancellor.
The Vice-Chancellor made these remarks during the official unveiling of the new Registrar of the University at the Senate Chamber. He also thanked those who have sent him text messages and special greetings via social media.
Professor Ezemonye in his remarks said he will “remain eternally grateful for the genuine support, encouragements and prayers” of staff. He also enjoined all to “remember we did it together. Our collective effort is massive and God perfected our ways. To God be the glory”.
There were also several congratulatory messages sent personally to the Vice-Chancellor on various social media platforms including the Senior Staff Club page on WhatsApp.
