Okada, Nigeria, September 30, 2024 Igbinedion University Okada (IUO) officially welcomed its new cohort of students for the 2024/2025 academic year with an engaging orientation exercise held at the university’s main auditorium. The event, aimed at instilling values of innovation and academic excellence, was graced by the university’s vice chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, and the Chief Medical Director, Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ya’u Abubakar Gagarawa, and other members of the university’s management team.

The orientation program featured a series of informative presentations and workshops conducted by various university departments, including the Registry, Bursary, and Student Affairs Division. These sessions aimed to equip students with essential knowledge regarding university policies, financial management, and available support systems, ensuring a smooth transition into university life.
