Dr Hassan Ozekhome is a Senior Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State. Nigeria. He obtained a BSc (combined Hons) in Economics and Statistics, an MSc in Economics, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Nigeria. Dr Ozekhome has over 40 academic publications in reputable international and national journals and several chapters in academic books. He is an economic policy analyst, researcher and consultant.
He has participated and presented empirical and policy papers in international and local conferences and workshops. He reviews papers for several journals across the globe. He is a member of several Economics and Scientific Research Institute and Professional Bodies, including the African Institute of Scientific Research, Pretoria, South Africa, and World Economics Association in Bristol, UK.
His areas of specialization, teaching and research interests are: Macroeconomics, Development Economics, International economics, Monetary and Financial Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Economics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematical Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, and Econometrics (Theory and Applied).
