VC Charges Student Pastors to be Fruitful as CCC pay him courtesy visit

The Christian Community on Campus (CCC) of Igbinedion Univerity Led by Pastor Kennedy Erebulu has paid a courtesy call on the new Vice Chancellor of Igbinedion University, Professor Lawrence Ezemonye.

Pastor Erebulu a 500 level student of the College of Pharmacy commended the Vice-Chancellor for giving the Campus a new look within the few months he has been Vice-Chancellor, maintaining that the Christian Community on Campus would give all their support to ensure he succeeds.

The Student Pastors also used the opportunity to remind the University Management of the regular University Day of Prayer and the Special Carol Service noting that the CCC is ready and willing to sustain the tradition and to make the events more exciting.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor, attributed all the changes and developments to God, stressing that there was nothing any man could do except by the grace of God.

He challenged the students to shine as light unto others and be fruitful in all ramifications. Professor Ezemonye used the opportunity to invite all the members of Christian Community on Campus to the thanksgiving Service scheduled to hold Sunday. He also assured the students pastors that this year’s Christmas Carol, will be more lively and that the University is open to suggestion and contact of any great Christian gospel singer that the student may want to invite. He assured them that the University would not hesitate to sponsor such great artist as part of service to God.

The President of the CCC later assured the Vice-Chancellor that the Christian Fellowship groups would be shut down on Sunday to join the Vice-Chancellor at the Thanksgiving at the Chapel of Grace.
