Born on 20th July 1966, Aisha Abubakar holds a BA(Hons) in Politics with International Relations of the University of Warwick, 1990 and an M.A in Development Studies from University of Leeds 1991. In addition she possesses certifications from several short professional courses including membership of several associations.
Aisha Abubakar an accomplished public sector administrator with over 3 decades of vast professional experience in Public Service and Pension Administration, Investment Banking, SME Finance/Rural Enterprise Development & Micro Credit Administration, International Development and Human Resource Management.
Her previous roles as Honorable Minister of State at Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment and Honorable Minister of Federal Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development has seen her pioneer several progressive and innovative reforms towards national development.
Aisha is multi-talented with a consistent track record of successfully delivering and implementing sector-wide policies and projects. She is involved in several mentorship initiatives for women and youth where she shares her public sector and global experience.
