Professor Sunday Josiah is a Professor of Biochemistry with area of specialization in Ethno-pharmacology and Toxicology with special interest in the mechanism of function of active component in phytochemicals. He was the Head, Department of Biochemistry and currently, he is the Dean, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Igbinedion University. He is also the Chairman, Security committee and a member of the Governing Council of Igbinedion University, Okada representing Congregation. He has served in various senate committee such as member of Admission committee, Quality Assurance, Research committee and hall warden. I have published over forty Journal articles in both local and international reputable peer-review journals and have been both internal and external examiner at various postgraduate candidates examination. Prof Josiah is a member of the following professional bodies, The Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB), Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), and West African Society of Toxicology (WASOT).
