Ebere J. Okafor –elenwo is currently a Senior Lecturer in igbinedion university okada, edo state, nigeria. She received her Ph.D in Parasitology from University of Port Harcourt and is actively involved in academic and administrative duties in Igbinedion University Okada. She was appointed as the head of Biological Sciences department from 2013 to 2020 and has served in more than twenty committees in Igbinedion University Okada. She teaches a wide range of courses to undergraduates and post graduates in the university such as General Zoology, Proto-chordates and Chordates, Physiology and Biochemistry of Parasites, Applied and general parasitology, Ecology and Behaviour of Parasites, Cell Biology, Embryology, Comparative animal physiology, Scientific writing , Histology, Reproduction and Invertebrate Zoology. She has written many reputable books in the areas of Zoology, Agriculture, and Ethno-medicine, in addition to numerous Scientific Research Publications in specialized areas of Biology. She is currently involved in Mollusca Research, Horticulture and neglected Tropical Parasites.
