Dr. Imhanobe Habsat Joyce holds a Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from University of Benin, Nigeria. A Masters degree in Mass Communications from Bedfordshire University, United Kingdom and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theatre Arts from Igbinedion University, Nigeria.

She is an experienced media personality who has worked both in Television, Print and Public Relations before taking up her current responsibility as a lecturer at Igbinedion University where she has been a team player for over 11 years in the Department of Mass Communication.

Dr. Imhanobe’s interest is mainly film content and documentary. Her published works are on film and broadcasting some of which are; Influence of Educational Broadcasting on Child Development: A Focus on NTA Benin (2019). Reflecting the Nigerian Society in Nollywood Movies (2022).Film As A Medium Of Communication: A Critical Review of ‘Half Of A Yellow Sun’ (2023). Etc.

 Dr. Habsat Joyce Imhanobe loves travelling for fun and education, meeting people and sharing ideas that enhanced career growth. She also has great passion for counseling young people and hosting events for kids.
