MSC RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY AT BRANDON UNIVERSITY

I’m looking for two students to complete MSc degrees with me starting May 2019. The projects are hydrological in nature, looking at peatland restoration and ecotone creation in South Eastern Manitoba. This is part of a larger NSERC-CRD project and there will be students from Waterloo and Laval involved in the project. An annual trip to Quebec City (Feb) will also be expected to present to the larger research group.

Students would complete their MSc at Brandon University (www.brandonu.ca/mels/).

A stipend of $15,000/year, plus a potential TA in the first year (~$6000) will be available.
Housing, vehicle, and per diem is provided for the summer (research field season) months.
Ideally, students should have taken at least one undergraduate course in hydrology.

For more information, feel free to email me.

Please forward to anyone you think might be interested.
