The Vice-Chancellor, Igbinedion University, Okada, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate and Management invites the general public to the Inauguration Lecture for the Centre for Contemporary Security Studies of Igbinedion University Okada to be delivered by the Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, General Tukur Yusuf Buratai on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the University’s Main Auditorium, Main Campus, Okada by 11.00am.
The lecture titled: Military & Democratic Consolidation in Nigeria: Appraisal of Nigerian Army Counter-Terrorism & Counter Insurgency operations will!be the first lecture to be delivered on the platform of the Centre to be named after General Buratai.
Thereafter, there shall be the ground-breaking ceremony at the earmarked site for the construction of a multi-million naira office complex for the centre for contemporary security studies located in the main campus of the university.
