The Department of Mass Communication at Igbinedion University Okada was established in 2002 to run a degree programme in the College of Arts and Social Sciences following the successful founding of the university in 1999.

Our Philosophy: To produce graduates who are academically and professionally empowered with the competencies required to discharge their duties to society with excellence and integrity.

The Department boasts of world-class faculty, who are mostly doctorate degree holders with excellent facilities to teach all the different areas of Mass Communication – Advertising, Broadcast, Public Relations and Print Journalism.
