Engr. Dr. Anthony Chijioke Adingwupu is a seasoned academic and engineering professional specializing in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, with a strong focus on thermofluid systems and renewable energy technologies. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria.
Dr. Adingwupu holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin (UNIBEN), a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermo-Fluids option) from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Applied Energy option) from the University of Benin. His academic and research pursuits are centered on sustainable energy systems, thermofluid processes, and applied energy solutions.
With several years of teaching and research experience, he has contributed significantly to undergraduate and postgraduate education through curriculum development, lecture delivery, student mentorship, and supervision of engineering projects. He has also actively participated in professional conferences and academic engagements, contributing to knowledge advancement in his field.
Dr. Adingwupu is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) as well as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). His professional interests include renewable energy systems, energy efficiency, and innovative engineering solutions for sustainable development.
