Dr. Ekienabor Ehijiele

Dr. Ehijiele Ekienabor is a Nigerian academic, researcher, and university administrator currently serving as Acting Dean, College of Business and Management Studies, and Lecturer I in the Department of Business Administration at Igbinedion University, Okada. He holds a PhD in Business Management (2019), an MSc in Business Administration (2015), and a BSc in Business Administration (2007), all obtained from Igbinedion University, Okada. With over a decade of progressive academic and administrative experience, Dr. Ekienabor has held key leadership roles including Acting Head of Department (2022–2024), Sub-Dean (2020–2025), and Head of Research Committee. He has been instrumental in securing National Universities Commission (NUC) re-accreditation for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business Administration and has contributed significantly to faculty development, academic planning, and quality assurance processes As a scholar, he has supervised undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, and has taught students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels His research interests span corporate governance, entrepreneurship, leadership studies, business continuity management, human resource management, and financial sector development.

He has authored and co-authored over 35 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers in both national and international outlets, with international conference participation in Poland and the Netherlands His Google Scholar profile reflects an h-index of 8 and i10-index of 6. Beyond academia, Dr. Ekienabor is a Senior Chartered Public Manager and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM) as well as the Academy of Management Nigeria He is actively engaged in mentorship, faculty sports leadership, and entrepreneurship development initiatives, including coaching the College football team to victory in the 2023 Vice Chancellor Cup Tournament.
