Prof. (Mrs.) Christina Uche Osimen-Eboziegbe is a Professor of Anatomy at Igbinedion University, Okada, with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She obtained her Ph.D. in Anatomy from the University of Benin in 2017, following her M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Anatomy.
Her teaching portfolio spans gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and histology for medical and allied health students. She has consistently contributed to curriculum development, student mentorship, and the advancement of innovative teaching methodologies within the School of Basic Medical Sciences.
Prof. Osimen-Eboziegbe’s research interests are centered on reproductive biology, toxicology, and histomorphology, with particular emphasis on the effects of natural and environmental agents on reproductive health. She has an extensive publication record in reputable peer-reviewed journals and has presented her findings at numerous conferences.
She has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Acting Head of the Department of Anatomy, Chairperson of institutional committees, and member of various university boards. Her leadership roles reflect a strong commitment to academic excellence, institutional governance, and student development.
A member of professional bodies such as the Anatomical Society of Nigeria the National Association of Women in Academics, Histochemical Society, USA, and other professional bodies. Prof. Osimen-Eboziegbe is dedicated to advancing anatomical sciences and promoting gender equity in academia.
