IMARHIAGBE EGHOSA AKUGBE

Engr. Imarhiagbe Eghosa Akugbe, a Civil Engineer with Specialization in Highway and Transportation Engineering, Building Construction and Structural Analysis and has interest in Application of software to solving Civil Engineering Problems, Analysis and Design, is a Nigerian, holder of B.Eng and M.Eng degree from the University of Benin has over twelve (12) years’ cognate experience in the industry as Site Engineer, Supervisor, Lead Engineer. He is a member of professional bodies, Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and a COREN Registered Engineer.

Presently, in the employment of Igbinedion University, Okada as Lecturer II in the Department of Civil Engineering. His duties was basically lecturing apart from related responsibilities assigned from time to time. He has experience in the use of computer software including AUTOCAD, PROTA STRUCTURE, CIVIL 3D, EXCEL, ORION, ARCHICAD ARTLANTIS, LUMION just to mention a few to solve Structural Engineering Analysis, Design, Construction and Simulation problems associated with buildings, foundations, Pavements and Roads.

He was also Site Engineer in OGROMA, where he gained industrial
experience in Road Construction, Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Also a Civil Engineer at MIC-JIN ENGINEERING SERVICES, where Constrcution and supervision of various types of Buildings ranging from bungalow, to duplex, to shopping complex to event centres where built and commissioned giving attention to structural design and detailing.

He aslo was a Highway Engineer at DULA ASSOCIATES a transportation Engineering Consultant, where various traffic studies was conducted which include road link volume studies, intersection volume studies, origin-destination survey, spot speed studies, and journey speed studies. Again as a Highway Engineer at EROMOND INT’L LTD various Construction ranging from Roads, and Pavement was desined and built.

Akugbe is a husband and father. A devoted Church Worker and Leader,
also loves driving. A Passionate Teacher and a Chess Player.
