Autobiography

Professor Damian Mbaegbu was educated partly in Ghana and partly in Nigeria. After the initial preparatory, primary and secondary school education in Ghana, he graduated from the University of Cape Coast in 1976 with a BA (Double Honours) Degree in Education; Economics. Later in 1990 he earned the MBA (Business Administration) of the University of Calabar. Much later in the year 2000 he also earned the M.Sc. (Industrial Sociology and Personnel Management) of the Imo State University, Owerri. Finally in 2010 he bagged the Ph.D. in Business Administration (Management) of the Igbinedion University, Okada.

He is a member of The Academy of Management Nigeria, The Nigerian Institute of Management, The Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and The International Institute of Policy Reviews and Development Strategies.

          He has attended not less than 20 Research Conferences and workshops both within and outside Nigeria and presented papers.

          He has been Sub-Dean of the School of Post-Graduate Studies and Research and He is currently the Dean of the College of Business and Management Studies, Igbinedion University Okada.

          He has over thirty (30) local and international academic publications and over fifty (50) non-academic publications.

          He is happily married to Mrs. Charity Mbaegbu, M.Ed. and they are blessed with children who are pursuing various careers in Entreoreneurship, Engineering and Medicine.
