The Bursar – Dr. Edoigiawerie M. Nosa

Dr. Edoigiawerie M. Nosa obtained a Bachelor’s degree (Bsc/Ed) in Economics from the University of Benin in 1987; MSc degree in Accounting from Igbinedion University, Okada in 2012 and a PhD in Finance from the same university in 2018.

Dr. Edoigiawerie M. Nosa joined Igbinedion University in 2001 as pioneer internal auditor and head, internal audit unit, from a firm of chartered accountants (Lucky Osawaru & Co.). Prior to that period, he was the executive secretary to Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Edo/Delta branch. In 2004, he was appointed as chief accountant in the bursary department. In 2006, he was seconded to Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital (IUTH) as head, accounts department. In 2009, he returned to the university, to his extant position as chief accountant. In 2010, he was appointed as acting bursar and later that year he was promoted to the position of deputy bursar. He was acting bursar until 2015 when his appointment as the university’s substantive bursar was confirmed.

Dr. Edoigiawerie M. Nosa is married to Deaconess (Mrs.) Josephine Edoigiawerie and to the glory of God, the union is blessed with five children.
