DEPARTMENTAL PROFILE

Igbinedion University’s Mechatronics Engineering program will introduce Undergraduates to the subject’s fundamental physical and mathematical principles as well as provide a comprehensive, integrated overview of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and computer technology and their applications. The B.s.c Eng degree program integrates mechanical, computer, electronic, and electrical engineering to solve the difficulties of inventing and implementing intelligent technologies for the advancement of the nation and the entire world. The opportunity to work with international specialists will help students develop strong theoretical and practical abilities. Students in the program will also receive practical expertise in a variety of integrated system problems through project work; the projects are developed and evaluated in collaboration with our partners from important universities and companies. Through these projects, they will learn essential employment skills that are applicable to real-world problems via industrially focused modules and research projects, whilst also gaining the essential management skills to bring the ideas to life. The Mechatronics Engineering programs at the university began in the 2022–2023 academic session with the full approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
