Brief History:    Pius Omole was educated in Nigeria and Spain. He obtained degrees in Spanish literature as well as Contemporary Black Literature from the University of Navarra, Spain. Omole taught in the Department of Language Arts, University of Ibadan from 1977 to 2013 when he retired to join Nigeria’s premier private University, Igbinedion University, where he has taught since 2015. An avid Soyinka’s scholar, his interests straddle both the communication arts and literary studies. He is also a poet and a social issue commentator.
