Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu was born on 6th May, 1959 and is an Associate Professor of Banking and Finance, Management Consultant, Management Auditor, Financial Analyst, and Economist. For over two decades, Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu has acquired vast experiences in lecturing at the tertiary institutions (Universities in particular) in Nigeria. He has also been providing quality consultancy services for both public and private sector organizations in Nigeria including Local, States and Federal Governments, Companies, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Professional Bodies. He holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance (2011) which he obtained from Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria; Master of Science Degrees in Economics and Statistics (2006) and Banking and Finance (2000) – both of which were earned from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance (1998) from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria after obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Banking and Finance (1994) from the same University of Benin. Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Management Auditors (ACIMA) (2004).

Besides his academic and professional qualifications, Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu has acquired enviable cognate experiences in private and public sector-organizations in Nigeria, including:
a) Nigeria Economic and Welfare Services Limited (NEWS) from1978 to1990 and rose to the rank of Deputy Manager;
b) Universal Investment and Development Company Plc (UIDC) from1990 to 2002 and rose to the rank of Principal Manager;
c) University of Abuja from January to November, 2003 as a Part-time Lecturer;
d) University of Benin as Senior Consultant/ Commercial Officer in the Consultancy Unit of the University from December, 2003 to November, 2005;
e) Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria from December 5, 2005 to-date and has risen to the position of Associate Professor.
Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu has attended several Conferences and Workshops (both nationally and internationally) either as a participant or a paper presenter. He is very passionate in sharing knowledge and experiences with his academic and professional peers.
Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu is a seasoned scholar/practitioner as his academic and professional works have earned him several accolades globally. Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu has published over thirty-three (33) quality research articles in reputable and well-indexed foreign, national and local journals – majority of which are pasted on the Academia, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, ORCiD and Web of Science platforms/websites. It is needless to state therefore that these publications serve to showcase his scholarly impact on the academic world. More importantly, Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu has supervised over eleven (11) Ph.D. Theses, eighteen (18) M.Sc. Dissertations, and over thirty (30) Research Projects at the undergraduate level in the areas of Economics, Banking, Accounting/Finance, and Management. Dr. Stephen Ebhodaghe Ughulu is happily married with children and grand-children. He loves reading, writing, lecturing, travelling and sports.
