The 4th Annual Circularity Conference was jointly organized by the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and the Africa Circular Economy Research and Policy Network (ACERPiN). ACERPiN is facilitated by the Interconnections for Making Africa Great, Empowered, and Sustainable (IMAGES) Initiative.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechuwkwu Ezemonye, PhD, FAS, lauded the development of the organizers, describing the theme of the conference as a revolutionary concept that every organization should adopt.
He further reiterated the need to consistently expand the frontiers of science, technology, and innovation (STI). Stressing that research has gone beyond the phase of “Research and Development” (R & D) to “Research, Development, Demonstration, and Deployment” (RDD&D).
An initiative that Igbinedion University Okada has since adopted towards graduating future-ready and industrially relevant students.
