Had Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Masters of Science (M.Sc) in Political Science from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Comparative Politics and Development Studies from Igbinedion University in 2019. He joined the services of Igbinedion University Okada in 2006 as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration and rose through the academic ranks to become a Senior Lecturer in the year 2021. He was appointed Head of Department in the acting capacity in year 2017 and has held the position till date. He has over twenty publications in reputable journals local and international including the American Political Science Review, International Journal of Arts and Science (IJAS) and the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA) Journals. He has attended conferences and workshops both in Nigeria and abroad including the annual congresses/conferences of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA), American Political Science Association (APSA) and the Canadian Political Science Association (CPSA), African Studies Association (ASA) etc. He coauthored a book “Citizen and State: an introductory prima” and co-edited a book “Issues in the 2019 General Elections in Nigeria). His research interests include comparative studies, research methods, democratic and development studies as well as foreign policy and diplomacy.
