Mr. Ahola Orgeh is the current Registrar of
Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO), having officially assumed office on July 1, 2025. He succeeded Friday Benji Bakare, Esq., whose five-year tenure concluded in late June 2025. Orgeh, a native of Adim-Akp in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State, is a seasoned administrator with over 20 years of experience in the Nigerian university system. Orgeh holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from
ABU, Zaria and a Master’s in Industrial and Labour Relations from the
University of Ibadan. A seasoned professional, he holds fellowships and memberships in the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI), ANUPA, NIM, and the CIA. Before this appointment, Orgeh served as a Deputy Registrar at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Benue State University, Makurdi, and the University of Agriculture, Makurdi. This role is a “homecoming,” as he previously served within the IUO Registry Division. As Registrar, Orgeh manages university administration and acts as Secretary to the Council, Senate, Congregation, and Convocation.
