Barr. Chike Nmerukini

Barrister Chike Nmerukini is a distinguished Nigerian legal practitioner and a high-ranking administrator in the Rivers State Local Government Service. As of early 2026, he serves as the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA) for the Port Harcourt City Local Government (PHALGA), where he oversees the administrative machinery and staff welfare of the state’s most prominent council. His career in public service is marked by his previous tenure as the Director of Administration and General Services for Obio/Akpor LGA.

In addition to his civil service career, Barrister Nmerukini is a key figure in academic governance, currently serving as a member of the Governing Council of Igbinedion University, Okada.
