Dr. Airen Melody

Dr. Airen Melody is a senior lecturer of Integrated Marketing Communication. He is the current Head Department of Mass Communication, a two time and current Sub-Dean, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan College of Arts and Social Sciences, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria.

Education and Career

Dr. Airen Melody holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University Abraka, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Public Relations and Masters degree in Public Relations/Marketing both from the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. He obtained his Doctor of philosophy in Business Administration (Integrated Marketing Communications) from the prestigious Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State Nigeria.

Administration Responsibilities

He has held several administrative positions in the Nigerian University System. He is the current Head, Campus Radio (90.5fm), member university press committee, member university Ad-hoc curricum committee, two-time vice president, IUO united multipurpose society, president IUO united multipurpose cooperative society, member, university beautification committee  

Research Interest

Dr. Airen Melody areas of research interest includes:
Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), Environmental Public Relations, Marketing Public Relations and Strategic Advertising. He is a member of many notable professional bodies and associations both local and international. He has published several research articles in both local and international journals of repute. He enjoys traveling and reading.
