Dr. Ben Obi

High Chief (Senator) Dr. Ben Obi, a public figure of note, is a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and one-time Special Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs to the President of Nigeria. He is currently the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council of American University of Nigeria, Yola.

He is a silent achiever and will never blow his trumpet despite his numerous accomplishments.
He holds the traditional titles of the Ojeligbo Ozi, Okwulora Umunya and the Agbawodike Izu of Enugu-Ukwu. He has over 25 other Chieftaincy titles. Senator Obi is a proud recipient of the award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
