Dr DAVID E. EIGHEMHENRIO

Dr. David Erhonmhon Eighemhenrio obtained a PhD in Geography and Regional Planning (Environmental and Resource Management) University of Uyo in 2012, M.Sc. Geography (Rural Resources Development and Planning) University of Benin in 1997, B.Sc. (Hons.) Geography and Planning, University of Jos in 1994 and a B.A. (Hons) Theology and Missions, United Christian University, North Carolina, USA in 2002. He is currently the Head of Department Geography and Regional Igbinedion University, Okada. Has served as Adjunct Lecturer, University of Calabar 2000 – 2007, Lecturer, Centre for Security and Safety Management, Port Harcourt 2008-2012, Senior Lecturer, Eastern Polytechnic, Port Harcourt 2012- 2018, and a Senior Lecturer, National Teachers Institute (NTI) Degree Programme, Port Harcourt 2016-2019.

He is a Fellow of Centre for Research, Leadership and Human Development (CRELHUD) Inc. Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Associate Member, International Centre for Empowerment and Management, California, USA. And an Associate Member, Nigeria Meteorological Society. Besides he has acquired experience and skills from a number of academic and leadership seminars and workshops within and beyond the shores of Nigeria. His research interest is in Environmental Problems, Resources Management and Climate Change. David have published many journals and book chapters.

As an academic, he also doubles as Christian leader, a minister and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, ordained in 2002, 2003 and 2018 by local and international Christian organizations. He is a gifted deliverance minister, marriage counsellor and crusader of the oppressed and deprived. And he is married and has four Children.
