Dr Lateef Abiola AKINPELU holds a PhD degree in Pharmacology from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2016. He has attended several conferences and has contributed immensely to teaching and research at the Igbinedion University, Okada. He has contributed immensely to the scientific evaluation and validation of medicinal plants used to treat neuropsychiatric disorders in Nigerian traditional medicines. He has several scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals. He is currently the acting Head, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, a member of the Igbinedion University Senate and the current Public Relation Officer of the Igbinedion University Muslim Community.
