Biography

Holds a Ph.D (2015/2016) in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Researches have been centred on accessing the direct and indirect effects of crude oil spillages on the climate of the Niger Delta region of Nigeria and the subsequent effect of these changes in biological subjects. Most recently, the research interest has been on x-raying component of ‘waste to wealth’ in the oil palm industry. I was

a participant and contributor in the just concluded Edo State Stakeholders workshop 2022, Edo State, Nigeria; Also attended several international webinars, conferences and workshops including a webinar on biofuels and Biomas conversion and was a Facilitator in a British Council Sponsored online/blended project; ‘Stimulating Entrepreneurial Thinking in Scientists’ (SETS) in African institutions’ involving Partners from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and the United Kingdom to co-design, co-develop and co-deliver both convened by Recirculate and Actuate, headed by Lancaster University, United Kingdom. Desk Officer, United Nations Sustainable Development Solution Network (UN-SDSN), Igbinedion University Chapter. Led our UN-SDSN team to organise the 1st International Webinar on ‘Driving the attainment of the SDGs to cushion the effects of COVID-19 Pandemic on the 29th of October, 2020, and was the Moderator at that summit. Attended the UN Environment Virtual Coffee with Change-makers; The Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction hosted Jeffrey Sachs and Gary Lewis(by SDSN) and Virtual meeting on Accelerating progress towards the SDGs: the contribution of Universities Partnerships(by SDSN). Attended the 2nd World Congress on Climate Change (WCCC) in Berlin, Germany in September 2019, Organized by Innovinc Intcon Private Limited. Director, Benin City Window on America, an initiative of the United States Department of States under the Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs managed by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria; My overall goal is to keep developing an excellent flair for research and leave unshrinking footprints where ever I am opportune to serve.
