

She is a passionate and intentional individual with over three decades of professional experience that has fostered strong network of relationships locally and internationally. She is focused principally on small and micro enterprise development, women development and family livelihood enhancement. This she has done through her various appointments both public and private sectors and several organizations including Tarihaan integrated services. Aisha Abubakar is serving as a world model for entrepreneurial development to lift people and communities out of extreme poverty.
She worked with African Development Bank, Abidjan, Cote d Ivoire, African International Bank, Abuja Enterprise Agency, appointed as pioneer Director of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD). She served as Minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria from 2015 to 2019. Co-founder of several organization including Tarihaan integrated service, Rahina Global services, Fatimah Balaraba Foundation established to support the mental well-being of single mothers and the development of the girl child in Northern Nigeria, in a bid to promote sustainable livelihood and self- improvement. She also serves as Advisory Board on onewattasolar Ltd, one community one Industry. She was appointed chairman of NACCIMA Business Women Group (NAWORG), Independent Non- Executive Director of Union Bank of Nigeria and SUNU Assurances Nigeria.
