During my over 40 years post graduation administrative experience, I have served in the vital departments of Recruitment, Promotions, Staff Development & Training and Personnel Management, and the Secretariat of the Ahmadu Bello University Governing Council with responsibility for servicing the Finance & General Purposes Committee (F&GPC), Tenders Board and the Council, These duties/responsibilities were executed at a Public Examination body – NABTEB (Federal Ministry of Education) as Director of Administration and Secretary to the Governing Board in addition to the Sensitive and confidential assignments of Post-Examination and Certification of Candidates Nationwide.
And at the continental level, I served the Secretariat of the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA) with commendation
My exposure as the National President (1987 – 1991) of one of the three industrial unions in the Nigerian University system had enriched my knowledge of practical industrial relations.
Also my election by the University Community (Academic and Senior non-Academic Staff) to serve as the Secretary to the Ahmadu Bello University Congregation 1991 – 1993 and Ex-officio member of Senate for same period had improved my community relations and professional touch.
Community Service – Guest Lecturer (GRATIS) to final year students, Dept. of Public Administration ABU (Feb. 2014 to November 2014) amongst others.
Guest Lecturer in Public Administration with specialization in Political Science, International Relations, Political Economy, Conflict studies, Office Administration and Management, Public Service Rules and Financial Regulation.
