RESUME:
Orebanjo Olusesan is a dedicated professional serving as the Assistant Chief Technologist in the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State,
Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, B.Eng. (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, and pursued further studies abroad, earning
a Master’s degree, MSc in Power Systems Engineering from Delaware, USA. Currently, Orebanjo
is pursuing a Ph.D degree in Power and Renewable Energy at Igbinedion University Okada.

With a career spanning across various sectors, Orebanjo has amassed a wealth of experience in
Renewable Energy solutions. He is an esteemed Member of professional organizations such as
the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE), the Nigeria Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (MNIEEE), Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS) and the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (MSESN). Additionally, Orebanjo holds memberships in the Nigeria Association of Technologists in Engineering (MNATE), the Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (MIRED), and the International Association of Engineers (MIAEng). Recognized as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the National Society of Engineers in New York, USA, Member of International Association of Innovation Professionals (MIAOIP), Member Industrial Engineering and Operation Management (MIEOM international Society) and a Chartered Engineer R.Engr with COREN, Orebanjo is deeply committed to advancing Renewable Energy initiatives within Nigeria.
Originating from Ogun State, Orebanjo’s passion for Renewable Energy drives his dedication to designing and installing solar Renewable Energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. As the Assistant Chief Technologist, he plays a pivotal role in advancing research and innovation in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, contributing significantly to the sustainable development of energy solutions.
