Oseghale Omonye Joy, B.Sc (Ed) Guidance and Counselling, M. Ed Counselling Psychology.
Oseghale Omonye Joy is a counselling psychologist and an educator who specializes in providing psychotherapy to people experiencing psychological disturbance, behavioural problems, emotional difficulties, stress, and academic related problem with experience working with diverse students’ population for over 5 years. She joined the services of Igbinedion University in 2024 as a guidance counsellor in Amazon Hostel under the Human Help Service Unit, Igbinedion University, Okada. 

EDUCATION AND CAREER
Oseghale Omonye Joy, holds Bachelor of Science (Ed) in Guidance and Counselling from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Counselling Psychology, University of Benin.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Oseghale Omonye Joy, is in charge of counselling in Amazon Hostel. Attends to students who are referred to her for counselling either individual or group counselling in order to help students decrease maladaptive behavior and increase adaptive behaviour. To carry out guidance and counselling services on the different spheres of students’ lives which include academic, vocational and socio-personal counselling. Organizing of orientation, awareness and career talk among others as the case may be.
