Prof. Adebayo GBOLADE

Prof. Adebayo Gbolade holds B.Pharm (Ife) in 1980, PhD (Manch) Pharmacognosy 1989 degrees. Before joining Igbinedion University in 2015, he had previous teaching experience at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife, Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago-Iwoye as Professor, and as Visiting Professor to University of Benin. He is widely published and has attended several international conferences. A natural products researcher, Professor Gbolade was formerly Dean, College of Pharmacy (2016-2018) and currently the Head, Pharmacognosy Department. Furthermore, Professor Gbolade is a recipient of Travel Fellowship Awards from EU, UNDP and WHO. He was a member of Governing Councils of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (UK).
