Prof. Sunday Marachi Aguwamba

Professor Sunday Marachi Aguwamba had his B.Sc. Management Studies (Bankingand Finance), University of Sokoto, 1986, M.B.A (Finance), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, 2001 and Ph.D. (Banking and Finance), University of PortHarcourt, 2014. Professor Sunday M. Aguwamba is a Fellow Chartered Insitute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), 2016.
He worked with Afcott Nigeria PLC as follows:-
– Trainee Accountant-1988-1989
– Branch Accountant-1 989-1993
– Senior Accountant-1983-1996
– Assistant Account Manager-1996-1999
Professor Sunday M. Aguwamba journal Igbinedion University, Okada in 2002 as Lecturer ll. 2007, Promoted to Lecturer l, Senior Lecturer in 2014, Associate Professor, 2019 and Professor, 2021.
Professor Sunday M. Aguwamba has held different positions in lgbinedion University, Okada which include the following:-
(1) Acting HOD, Banking and Finance 2005-2007.
(2) Acting HOD, Business Administration 2014-2019.
(3) HOD Banking and Finance 2021-date.
(4) The Dean, College of Business and Management Studies 2023 to date.
He has also been appointed as a member of various Committees of lgbinedion University Okada.
