

She is a Professor of Ecotoxicology and Ecological Biochemistry and a 2024 Commonwealth scholarship fellow (UK). She is the Convener of the Redefining Tomorrow Empowerment Initiative.(RTEI), a women-centred leadership and mentorship platform focused on empowering women and young professionals through capacity building, leadership development and advocacy. Through this initiative, she supports women to overcome structural barriers, build confidence and access opportunities for academics, professional and personal growth with particular attention to inclusion in leadership, policy and STEM related space.
She further strengthened her expertise in gender and social inclusion by completing the Bestpoke Gender and Development Training Certification at the Centre for Social policy studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in April 2025. This formal training, combined with her experience in programme design, mentorship and policy engagement as the Director of an American Space since 2022, positions her to effectively lead and curate a dedicated Gender and Inclusion platform that promotes evidence- based dialogue, gender- responsive programming and sustainable social impact.
