Dr. Sylvester Onyeoma is the Acting Dean, Goodluck Ebele College of Arts and Social Sciences and Former Sub-Dean, School of Post-Graduate Studies and Research, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria. He is experienced Researcher, Policy Analyst, Economist and financial management professional whose experience span through the academia, banking and public sector.

He is a Chartered Cybersecurity expert (ACSP) and a certified Procurement Management personnel. He is a Trainer, Facillitator and Coach (TFC) on Inspire, Create, Start and Scale (ICSS) Modules in Entrepreneurship and SMEs. He is also a member of the Nigerian Economic Society (FMNES) and a Chartered Banker (ACIB) with many years of Industry and University Lecturing experience at both undergraduate and Post Graduate levels. He served as a Manager at the defunct Intercontinental Bank Plc, now Access Bank Plc (2009 – 2011). He served as a HOD Economics (2016 – 2018) at Edo University, Iyamho-Uzairue, Edo State, Nigeria. He also served as a HOD Economics and Development Studies (2022 – 2024) at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State He has attended many global and local conferences, workshops and published over 50 articles at both national and international levels with high impact journals, He is also a reviewer to many national and international journals including SAGE Journals. He is an Editor to IU Journal of Economics & Development Studies and CASS Journal of Arts & Social Sciences. He has also published books and Book Chapters. He has served as Co-Investigator in grants and allied researches. He is hapily married to his beatiful wife and blessed with lovely children
