IUO Celebrates 25 Years of Reverence and Gratitude

The Vice-Chancellor of Igbinedion University Okada, Professor Lawrence Ezemonye, recently led senior principal officers in a profound gesture by attending the Jumat Service as part of the university’s 25th-anniversary celebrations. The service was a beacon of spirituality, with fervent prayers echoing for the success of the milestone event.

During the service, Dr. Adebayor Muritala emphasised the importance of total submission to the will of God and obedience to His teachings as pathways to divine blessings. He lauded the university’s management for cultivating academic excellence and achieving remarkable milestones within a quarter century.

Professor Lawrence Ezemonye, in his address, expressed gratitude to the Muslim faithful for their unwavering prayers and support. The occasion was also marked by heartfelt prayers offered for the university’s founder, Sir Chief Doctor Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, and the institution’s management.
